Optimum Wear (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at optimumwear.com(the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site or join our pre-launch waitlist.

By accessing the Site, you acknowledge you have read and agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not access the Site.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate our pre-launch waitlist.

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Notify you when Optimum Wear officially launches
• Send relevant product updates and launch announcements (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• Understand aggregate interest in our product collection
• Analyze how visitors use our Site in order to improve it
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We will never sell your email address or personal information to third parties, nor use it for advertising unrelated to Optimum Wear.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Our database uses the following security controls:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) restricts read access to server-side operations only
• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
• AWS-managed encryption at rest
• API access via secret service-role keys stored in server environment variables — never exposed client-side

No payment information is ever collected or stored. All data is hosted in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, data transfers to the US occur under appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law.

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

Optimum Wear does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Our analytics (Vercel Analytics) are cookieless and do not fingerprint individual users.

Your browser may cache page resources and store minimal UI state in browser memory, but this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

All Users

• Right to deletion: Email us to remove your address from the waitlist at any time.
• Right to know: Request confirmation of what data we hold about you.

We retain your email and associated waitlist data for as long as needed to provide you with launch notifications — generally until six months after the official product launch, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 24 months.

Our Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@optimumwear.com and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above. For material changes, we will attempt to notify waitlist members via email. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
